The numbers speak for themselves. My ITM is 17% on FTP. While it is 40% on Pokerstars. What makes those #'s even worse is that I am playing much larger fields on pokerstars. This deviation is insane. The only thing I can attribute it to is maybe slightly different blind structures, but I play identical styles on both sites.

one thing about FT, maybe because i have hardly ever played there: i'm having a hard time recognizing how many people are in a pot. i'll throw a bet out to try and steal, thinking there's only one guy in there with me, and then it's like "fuck, there's four of em"

It seems I am the only person on this site that likes/does well at FT. Hm.

You can't base your #'s on ITM. It's got to be based on ROI.

Well you have to be In the Money to have an ROI........So you do the math.

Of course, but ROI should be the determinate of success not ITM. However, I will say that the competition is definitely more stiff on FTP due to the fact that the more experienced players prefer rakeback so they play at tilt rather than stars. I've noticed a large difference in competition.

I've noticed FTP is more like a turbo game compared to stars. Stars blinds seem to go up more slowly, and I think that their payout structure is more generous to lower finishers. I am just a very tight player; I want to get paid before I get paid if you know what I mean. That's not necessarily the recommended method of winning big, but I've won final tables with a couple hundred chips, so I just want to make the money and then play poker.

Stars payout structures are designed to keep u in crumbs and the "pros" fat off ur money........

I would say that at least 85% of the players in any MTT at Stars do not have 25% of the bankroll that is required to play the MTT's they are entering..and by playing 4 hours for 2 x their buyin they are assured they never will..........
